Oh My Dog Rescue Announces:
The Chris Wells Memorial Mutts Fund
Chris Wells was an advocate for all pups in need, fluffy and not so fluffy. (Listen to our special Pawdcast episode here to learn more about her.) Oh My Dog Rescue has created a special fund in her name to honor the work she did for dogs in need of rescue. This fund will continue to help special needs and tough to place dogs (underdogs) find their furever homes for many years to come.

We highly recommend supporting the rescue Chris founded directly, which is still operating with amazing volunteers: FluffyButts Rescue. Oh My Dog Rescue is not affiliated with FluffyButts rescue, neither is the Chris Wells Memorial Fund, though we wholeheartedly support their mission.
Featured UnderDog: Finn McCool

Finn McCool is a 3 year old boxer. He is deaf and fearful of new things, and gets overwhelmed when he doesn’t get his way. He faced euthanasia if returned to where he was adopted from, and he was running out of options. In January of 2025, OMD’s Chris Wells Memorial Mutts Fund was about to take in Finn and begin the work to make him adoptable. We are doing some one-on-one training with Clint Knox at Knox Canine Training to ensure he is set up for success in his furever home. This training is made pawsible because of a very special fund we have created, that was made possible by donations from followers like you.
